In January 2020, the ERASMUS+, Sport, Big Collaborative Partnership (613577-EPP-1-2019-1-RO-SPO-SCP) project has started and it is called „Chess Platform for Deaf People”- CHED. This project is coordinated by IPP Romania and CSST Cluj became a partner, together with 7 organizations from the following countries: Armenia, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Romania and Turkey. The duration of this project is 30 months.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the sports activities set out in the 2020 calendar have been cancelled. These will take place in 2021.

At the championship 150 athletes from 26 countries (England, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Israel, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Ukraine) participated.
The Romanian team consisted of NECŞE MARIA and LASLO LUCIA.
LASLO LUCIA took THIRD PLACE at individual senior +55 years old.
